I have to start with this: I’m obsessed with the grandfather’s idea. If you’re handing over billions, make them earn it—with purpose, perspective, and a little chaos. This book delivers on all fronts: ambition, tension, romance, and chemistry that practically burns through the pages. I didn’t expect to fall so hard for this grumpy-sunshine corporate love story, but here we are.

Characters:

Rowan Kane is a walking contradiction—icy, logical, emotionally locked up—and yet? You can’t stop reading about him. His job at the creative division of Dreamland (aka a Disney-esque empire) makes him powerful, and his guarded heart makes him irresistible.
Zahra Gulian is the spark this world needed. A fierce, creative, dream-chasing woman who isn’t afraid to speak her mind—even if it’s in a drunken suggestion box entry. Her heart is big, her wit is sharp, and she balances Rowan’s coldness perfectly.
